Financial Assistance

The CA Hospitalité offer grants of up to 50% of the total cost of travel and accommodation. Any pilgrim requiring assistance whether staying in a hotel or the Accueil is eligible to apply.

In exceptional cases, consideration may be given to assisting the carer of an assisted pilgrim and/or exceeding the 50% grant limit.

Applications must be submitted to the Treasurer of the CA Hospitalité, who will in turn submit the application to the Hospitalité Council for further consideration.

Joining us as an Assisted Pilgrim

Assisted Pilgrims (“AP’s”) form a central part of our pilgrimage and are the very reason so many of our volunteers return year after year. AP’s stay in the Accueil and are provided with 24 hour care by our volunteers, doctors and nurses.

Apart from attending the various services and masses throughout the week, many of our AP’s spend time shopping and going out in town, accompanied at all times by our volunteers.
